“I know, I’m just teasing~” Jared said with a chuckle, letting go of Liam’s hand and wrapping his arm around the blonde’s waist.

Liam giggled, blushing slightly. “I-“ He paused, cutting himself off and looking around.

Jared laughed softly, hugging his boyfriend close. “You’re too f---ing adorable,” he murmured, burying his face in Liam’s shoulder.

Liam chuckle quietly, reaching a hand up to gently kiss with Jared’s head. “You’re cuter~”

Jared flushed bright red and let out an embarrassed whine, chuckling softly as he leaned into Liam’s side.

Liam giggled quietly, curling his free hand into a fist to stop himself from flapping them. “I love you-“ he blurted out quietly, squeezing Jared’s hand

Jared froze, his face heating up even more. “You- You love me~?” He asked, a lovesick grin growing on his face.

Liam flushed bright red, freezing. “Uh- I- s---, did I really just say that?” he said nervously.

“Yeah, you did- I’m not complaining, though!” Jared said, smiling happily. “I- I think I love you, too~”

Liam smiled nervously, squeezing Jared’s hand. “But- but-“ he paused, groaning quietly. “I dont know, this is freaking me out-“

“Sorry, we- We do ‘t have to rush things, promise,” Jared said, stopping for a moment and moving to face Liam. “I mean, just because we love each other and told each other doesn’t mean we have to rush through this. We can take it slow, okay? If you’re still not ready for kissing and all that s---, it’s fine~”

Liam took a deep breath, avoiding eye contact with Jared. “Okay- Okay, yeah. Yeah, sorry-“

“Hey, don’t be sorry, okay? I’m one hundred percent chill with taking it slow, got it? Please don’t feel bad about this,” Jared said, gently squeezing Liam’s hand.

“Okay, got it,” Liam said softly, nodding. “Can- I have a hug?”

“Of course, Bug~” Jared said with a smile, moving closer and wrapping his arms around Liam. “I do love you, just so you know,” he said softly, pressing a kiss on the top of his head.
