“Yess!” Michael said with a smile, pumping a fist in the air as he walked with Evan. Jared followed, lagging behind a little as he was lost in his thoughts. Michael glanced back, exhaling. “Jared’s in a mood this morning,” he said quietly to Evan, sighing softly.

"I know, I can tell," Evan said softly, glancing back at Jared. "Liam was kind of loosing his mind about it. This is why you guys shouldn't date or anything before high school-"

“Pfft- When did you and your boyfriend get together?” Michael asked, looking over at Evan. “Also, they’re so not dating because Jared’s “not gay”, as he keeps saying.”

"Sophmore year, I'll have you know-" Evan said with a chuckle, crossing his arms. "And yeah, that's what I suspected."

“He got so mad when I asked, like he was offended or something,” Michael said, rolling his eyes. “I think it’s got something to do with his parents, honestly-“

"Ugh, that's the f---ing worst," Evan said softly. "Do you think we should send Liam over there to try and calm him down? Or would that make it worse-"

“Maybe give him a minute, let him cool off,” Michael said, glancing back at his friend. “He’s probably over there still freaking himself out over all this.”

"Yeah, I feel like we've all been there though," Evan said, also glancing back. "When we're in denial, though-"

“Yeah, it’s rough-“ Michael exhaled, looking forwards. “Yeah, I’d say give him a bit of time to himself. Then we send Liam over to comfort him~”

"Alright, sounds like a plan," Evan said with a chuckle. "Send me over where?" Liam asked, catching up with the two.

“To talk to Jared, once he’s calmed down a bit,” Michael replied, gesturing to the brunette behind them.

“Uh- I don’t think I should do that, I’m the reason he’s upset, aren’t I?” Liam said nervously. “Yeah, but he’s also upset with himself- you’ll be fine, Liam, we promise,” Evan said softly.

“He’s really not mad at you, promise,” Michael said, patting Liam’s back for a moment. “He just needs a minute to himself, then you two can cuddle all you want~” He teased, smirking playfully.

Liam blushed, rolling his eyes and looking at the path they were waking on. “Shut up-“

“What, it’s true~” Michael teased, giggling softly as he patted Liam on the back. He looked back, watching Jared behind them for a moment. “You good, Jared?” He asked, making the brunette look up. “Yeah, I’m fine,” Jared replied with a nod, adjusting his glasses as he moved back to Liam’s side. “Not moody anymore~?” “Shut up,” Jared replied with a chuckle, rolling his eyes.
