Liam took a minute or two to calm down before he changed and brushed his teeth. “Do we know what we’re doing today?” He asked as he came out, sitting down on his bed to put his shoes on. -
“No-“ “I wanna go swimming!” Michael said, jumping up. “What, because Jeremy’s gonna be there?” Jared asked, chuckling as he changed his shorts. “Uh, yeah, duh-“ “Pfft- Dude, you’re a literal gay disaster,” Jared said with a chuckle, grabbing his glasses and putting them on. “You’re one to talk, Mr. Cuddling With My Best Friend~“ Michael joked, smirking at the blushing brunette. “f--- off, dude,” he muttered, walking into the bathroom.

Liam flushed red, trying to focus on trying his shoes so his hands wouldn’t shake as much. He stood once he did that, running a hand through his hair. “I’m gonna go stand with Evan-“

“‘Kay,” Jared replied, nodding as he watched the blonde walk off. He exhaled softly, shutting the bathroom door. Michael walked over and opened it back up, watching Jared for a moment. “Dude, you good?” “Yes? No? I- I don’t f---ing know,” Jared said, sighing. “I mean, it’s totally fine if you are gay, dude- Hell, I’m gay, so-“ “No! I- I’m not f---ing gay, okay?” The brunette exclaimed, his face turning bright red. “I- I’m not gay, I- I can’t be-“ He exhaled shakily, rubbing his face with his hands. Michael flinched a little, frowning slightly. “Sorry, I was just asking,” he mumbled, exhaling softly. “No need to get mad,” he added, turning and walking off to finish changing. Jared exhaled, shutting the bathroom door.

"Oh, sup Liam," Evan said, getting off his phone and pocketing it. "Hi," Liam muttered softly, moving to sit on one of the steps. "Yeesh, what's up?" Evan asked, moving to sit next to the blonde on the steps. "I think Jared's mad at me," Liam muttered, staring at the ground. "Why? Wasn't he the one who stayed in your bed last night?" "I mean, yeah, but I guess I should've said something, right?" Liam whispered trying to force away the tears that came to his eyes. "I just don't want to loose my best friend-"

Jared exhaled shakily, taking a deep breath to calm himself down. He turned on the sink and cupped his hand under the water, splashing his face. He took another deep breath as he dried off his face, exhaling softly. He stood there for a moment before walking out of the bathroom, going to out on his shoes. Michael watched the brunette, a worried look on his face.

"I don't-" Evan said, glancing back at the door. "You guys might feel like this is the end of the world, but you guys will make up, I promise- you'll have till the end of the summer." "But what if we don't?? What if he hates me-" "Liam, do you like him?" Evan asked, giving Liam a look. "I- I'm not- yes. Yes I do," Liam muttered in defeat, looking back at the ground. "Okay, so I can let you in on a little secret, alright dude," Evan said, leaning in to whisper something in Liam's ear. "He definitely likes you too-"

“Jared?” Michael asked quietly, tucking his phone under his pillow. “What?” Jared said, pausing and looking over at his friend. “Y’know, if you were gay, it’s not bad or anything- I mean, me and Evan are gay, so-“ “Well, I’m not, so shut the f--- up and stop asking me,” Jared said, anger slipping into his voice.

"But- Jared's not gay, he knows-" Liam said quietly, wringing his hands together. Evan gave the blonde a look, raising an eyebrow. "Be so for real right now-"

“Jesus- Sorry, my God,” Michael said as he watched Jared put on his shoes, rolling his eyes. “You better calm the f--- down, dude, my Lord,” he muttered, standing and leaving Jared alone in the cabin. Jared huffed angrily, kicking the post of his bed. I- I can’t be gay, my parents would kill me- He exhaled shakily, his breathing growing irregular for a moment. He squeezed his eyes shut, forcing himself to suck it up and calm down.

Liam jumped as they heard the door open, glancing back at Michael as he walked out, Evan doing the same. "Hey Jared, what's going on?" Evan asked, patting the spot next to him on the stairs.

“Nothing, I’m fine,” Jared replied, walking out after Michael. “What’re- what’re we doing today?” “Can we please go to the lake later? Like, say, I dunno- Around 2:30?” Michael suggested, smirking.

Evan chuckled, glancing over at Michael and standing, helping Liam up. "I mean, I guess so- any reason why~?" -

“No reason as all-“ “He wants to swim with Jeremy~” Jared teased, earning a glare from Michael. “Stop that, he’s literally just my friend!” Michael said, exhaling softly. -
Evan chuckled quietly, starting to walk away from the cabin, Liam following him. "Yeah, we can do that, definitely."
