“Ooh, that actually sounds great~” Connor said with a chuckle, holding his hand out to Evan. “Some post-sex ice cream? I’m down for that~”

“Some post-cream ice cream you could say?” Evan said with a giggle, flushing red with embarrassment as he put the car in drive and took Connor’s hand.

“Oh my God, shut the f--- up,” Connor said with a laugh, blushing red as he gently squeezed Evan’s hand.

“No, no I don’t think I will,” Evan said with a chuckle. “Can you find the closest open ice cream place and tell me where to go, please?”

“Of course, handsome~” Connor said with a chuckle, kissing the back of Evan’s hand before pulling out his phone. “Uh, there’s a McDonalds close by, or a Chick-Fil-A, which one do you want?”

“Uh, Chick-Fil-A is probably a better bet- Mcdonald’s ice cream machine never works,” Evan said with a chuckle. “Did you know they do that to get money? Like, they get paid to fix it since it’s their own company fixing it or something -

“Damn, really?” Connor said, chuckling. “Y’know what- that makes a f--- ton of sense, though.”

“Yeah, doesn’t it?” Evan said with a chuckle, glancing at the directions before back at the road.

Connor chuckled softly, nodding in agreement. He hummed softly as he gently squeezed Evan’s hand, zoning out as he stared at the road.

“Whatcha thinking about?” Evan whispered curiously after a few beats of silence.

“Nothing really, honestly,” Connor replied quietly with a small smile, glancing over at Evan. “Thinking about you, me, us- And the boys, especially after everything that’s happened today,” he added in a lower voice, exhaling softly.

“Okay, first,” Evan said with a giggle. “I love how you just said you were thinking about nothing and then continue to list off all the important aspects of your life right now-“

“I- f--- you, I just lost my train of thought when you started talking is all,” Connor said with a laugh, gently squeezing Evan’s hand.

Evan laughed, squeezing Connor’s hand. “I love you too~”

Connor chuckled softly, rubbing his thumb against the back of Evan’s hand. “What else were you gonna say?”
