“Mm, maybe Cookout?” Connor replied, taking another sip of his milkshake. “They’ve got amazing fries, seriously-“

Evan frowned. “You’re lying- the only good thing they have is their shakes.”

“Hell nah! I love their cajun fries, dude,” Connor said with a laugh, running a hand through his hair. “I mean, sure, their burgers and stuff aren’t amazing, c’mon, they’re not that bad-“

“I’ve never had those, honestly,”Evan shrugged. “Are they spicy? I can’t handle spice very well.”

“Pfft- Cajun seasoning is like, barely spicy,” Connor said, chuckling. “It’s got a bit of heat, but it’s definitely not spicy. Tastes really good on the fries, though-“

“Hm,” Evan said, thinking for a moment as he ate some fries. “I might try them. With a milkshake, though.”

Connor chuckled, nodding. “You are right, they do have bomb milkshakes,” he said, picking up a french fry and eating it.

“My dad always liked to say they were just ice cream in cups, since you couldn’t have them with a straw,” Evan said, chuckling quietly.

“Honestly, real,” Connor said with a chuckle, glancing over at Evan.

“That’s lowkey why I like them so much,” Evan said with a chuckle. “Like, hot fudge or m&m’s in my soft ice cream? Yes please.”

“Hell yeah,” Connor said with a chuckle, nodding. “I love the banana pudding one they have sometimes, it’s really good~”

“Yeah, I feel like every time I get that one, though, there’s like, a straight up- like, half a banana in there,” Evan said with a laugh, setting down the container once he finished the fries.

“Mm, fair, fair,” Connor said, chuckling softly. “I feel like it’s always a pretty good ratio whenever I get it, but eh-“ He hummed softly as he ate a few more fries, taking another sip of his milkshake.

“Yeah, it’s always a 50/50,” Evan said with a chuckle, shrugging.

Connor nodded in agreement, taking another long sip of his milkshake.
