“Oh, good, good,” Evan said with a nod. “How did the rest of the kids react to it?”

“Aurthur was definitely panicked- Which was honestly pretty adorable, that he was so worried for him~” Connor said with a chuckle, rubbing the back of Evan’s hand with his thumb.

“Aww, stop it,” Evan said with a giggle, smiling. “But he’s better now?”

“Yeah, definitely better now,” Connor replied with a chuckle, nodding. He hummed softly, watching Evan for a moment. “Well, that was my day- How was yours, hun?”

“Eh, kind of boring,” Evan said with a shrug. “We did some service project that took up most of the day, then my kids wanted to go to the water and they whooped my ass in jackpot.”

“Sounds fun,” Connor said with a chuckle, gently squeezing Evan’s hand. He lifted his hand up, kissing the back of his hand. “I missed you~”

Evan smiled, watching Connor for a moment. “I missed you too~ God, it’s really felt so long, even though it’s been barely been twelve hours.”

“I know, feels like ages, huh,” Connor said with a chuckle, gently squeezing Evan’s hand.

“It really has,” Evan said with a smile, leaning over and pressing a kiss onto Connor’s lips.

Connor smiled and kissed Evan back, moving a hand to rest behind his head. He tilted his own head a little, deepening the kiss.

Evan hummed quietly, moving a hand to unbuckle his seatbelt. He got up on his knees, leaning over more to deepen the kiss.

Connor let go of Evan’s hand for a moment and unbuckled his seat belt, moving closer as he kissed Evan. He pulled back after a moment, chuckling softly. “Wanna take this to the back seat~?”

“f--- yeah,” Evan said with a grin, crawling over the center console and into the backseat. “C’mere, pretty boy~”

Connor chuckled and climbed back into the backseat, moving over Evan and kissing him. He sat on his lap and straddled his waist, running a hand through his hair.

Evan hummed quietly, wrapping his arms around Connor’s neck and pulling him close.
