"Uh, I mostly play video games, sometimes I draw, but I'm not any good at it," Karl replied with a chuckle. "I definitely don't think I'd make it into a career, but I still enjoy it, for fun." He looked over at Nick, putting his hands in the pockets of his pants. "What about you?" -

“I really like remodeling stuff? And kinda like, architecture? I took it in college so I’m really interested in that kind of stuff,” Nick said with a shrug. “I never did anything big with it, but I like designing like kitchens, and I rearrange the furniture in my house at least once a week to try and find the perfect arrangement,” He chuckled, adjusting his hat. “I dunno if that’s really a hobby or not but it’s what I do for fun.” -

"That's fun!" Karl said with a smile, nodding. "One of Elodie's siblings is a contractor, actually. He has a company that does remodeling to bathrooms, kitchens, and bedrooms and stuff, and add-ons to homes. It's really cool, honestly." He giggled awkwardly, his face heating up. "I mean, I don't know the first thing about construction and stuff, but it seems cool." -
“The coolest part, I think, is how complicated, but like, how simple it is at the same time?” Nick said with a chuckle. “Like if one part of my house wasn’t done properly, it could just, like, collapse.”

"Yeah, that's true," Karl said with a nod, bringing a hand up to run through his hair. "I think I really like the design aspect of it, getting to model the room or add-on how you think the client would like, especially if they are like, 'surprise me'."

“Yeah, that’d be fun,” Nick said with a chuckle. “ I feel like I’d be so nervous doing that though, cause some people who do that are usually so picky, y’know?”

"Yeah, that's another factor," Karl replied, crossing his arms over his chest. "But like, it's hard to please everyone, so I don't think it'd matter too much? I don't know, that's just what I think." He paused, giggling softly. "Anyways, if someone didn't like what I'd make for them, then it's their own fault for hiring me~"

Nick giggle. “That’s fair. Do you think you would use more colors or neutrals?”

"Probably more neutrals, but a pop of color makes a huge difference," Karl responded, giggling. "Now, I sure wouldn't do some rainbow colored bathroom, but it'd be boring if it was all monochrome."

“Okay, but colored bathrooms can be so fun,” Nick said with a chuckle. “Maybe not rainbow, but like a nice purple with a lot of plants to accent it.”

"Purple with greenery?? Okay, clearly you need to take a look at a color wheel," Karl teased, giggling softly.
