Karl laughed as he glanced back at Nick when he reached the hilltop, smiling. "Suck it, loser- f----" He shouted as he tripped, almost face-planting the ground. He threw out his hands and catch himself, tumbling to the ground. He rolled over onto his back, catching his breath. "Jesus Christ, I think my life flashed before my eyes," he said in between heavy breaths, laughing. -
Nick chased after Karl, trying to hold in his laughter. He bent over slightly, putting his hands on his knees as he caught his breath. “Oh my gosh, are you okay?”

"Yeah, I'm alright," Karl replied as he sat up, brushing his hands on his jeans. "My hands and arms may a bit scratched up, but I think I'm okay."

Nick walked up to Karl, looking at his hands and arms. “It looks like Eli got you,” he said with a laugh, smiling. -

"Yeah, sure does," Karl replied as he went to stand up. He winced as he put weight on a foot, slowly standing. "Crud, I think I rolled my ankle a bit," he said with a chuckle, rolling his ankle a bit. -

“Okay, maybe you should sit down for a second,” Nick said. “Does it really hurt to put pressure on it?” -

"No, I think I can walk," Karl replied with a smile, looking up at Nick. "Don't worry about me~" He took a step to test out his ankle, only partially in pain. He walked a little further, looking out at the view Nick mentioned. "Wow, you were right," the brunette said with a smile, giggling, "the view from up here is really nice!"
