Mahina whimpered. She squirmed slightly, growing uneasy.

Ernie held her. “It’ll be ok, we’re just going to see if this works, don’t be scared.” He said softly.

‘W-Will it hurt?’ Mahina mumbled, squirming again. ‘I don’t want it to hurt.’

Selene frowned. “It shouldn’t.” She said quietly. “If it does, I’ll stop, ok?”

Mahina whimpered, but nodded. ‘O-Ok.’

Selene put her wand down. “I’m not going to do it if you’re scared.”

Mahina looked down.

“It’s not your fault.” Selene added. “I just don’t want to push you to your limits, alright?”

Mahina nodded. ‘A-Alright.’

Selene gave a small smile, putting her wand away.

Mahina smiled weakly.

Ernie wrapped his arm around her.

Mahina let him.

Ernest looked at her, concerned.
