Ernie felt bad for her, but didn’t know what to do… so he didn’t do anything.

Mahina sighed. Selene watched her with sadness in her eyes.

“Do you want us to leave you alone?” Ernie asked Mahina quietly.

Mahina shook her head. ‘N-No, please don’t leave,’ she whimpered.

“Alright.” Ernest gave a weak smile.

Selene gently kissed the top of her head. She was already planning Callisto’s murder. ‘We’re here for you, Nina. We’ll get this fixed, yeah?’
Mahina whimpered and nodded. -
Ernie ruffled her hair. “Just tell us if you need anything, ok?”

Mahina let a small smile tug on the corner of her lips, and nodded again.

Ernie smiled back.

Mahina leaned her head on Selene’s shoulder, since she was closest.

Selene gave a small smile, still concerned.

Mahina closed her eyes. ‘Can we get my memory back now?’ she mumbled.

Selene looked at her book. “We can try.” She nodded.

Mahina nodded.

Selene pulled out her wand and aimed it at Mahina slowly.
