Mahina buried her face further into his shirt.

Mahina sniffled.

"It's alright." Ernie mumbled.

Ernest frowned.

Mahina was practically hiding in him.

"What do you want me to do?" Ernie asked quietly. "I can try and help, or I can just... Do nothing."

Ernie frowned, holding her.

Selene walked in, holding her large magic book. When she saw the two of them, she set it on the bedside table and rushed to Mahina’s side. ‘Oh, Nina, what’s wrong?’

Ernie looked up at Selene. "She won't tell me." He said quietly. "Did you find a cure?"

Selene shook her head. ‘But I have a few ideas.’
She sat next to Mahina, rubbing her back. -
Ernie gave a weak smile. "That's good."
