Ernie let her, blushing slightly.

Mahina shuffled closer to him. She couldn’t explain it, but his touch was comforting. -
Ernie let her. He wished she could just tell him what was wrong.

Mahina closed her eyes.

Ernest played with her hair gently.

Mahina nuzzled her face in his shoulder. ‘C-Can we do the spells now?’

Selene nodded, pulling her wand out again. "Sure. You sure you're ready though?"

Mahina nodded, turning to face her.

Selene gave a small smile. "Alright." She aimed the wand at her.

Mahina shut her eyes tight, bracing for impact.

Some white sparks shot out of Selene's wand after a bit. "Did it work?" She asked after a moment, sounding hopeful.

Mahina opened her eyes, shivering slightly. ‘I-I don’t know.’

Selene's smile faded slightly. "Alright."
Ernie squeezed Mahina's hand. -
Mahina looked at Ernest, the Selene, then back at Ernest. ‘I turned you into a frog.’
