Selene flicked her wand, and some pink sparks came out of it.

Mahina winced.

Selene set the wand down.
"Did it work?" Ernie asked hopefully. -
Mahina opened her eyes, not responding.

Ernie grew more worried, “Mahina?”

Mahina looked at him.

Ernest gave a weak smile, hoping she was ok.

Mahina watched him for a moment, before her eyes rolled into the back of her head and she collapsed against him.

Ernie's eyes widened. "Mahina?" He looked up at Selene after a bit.

Selene grimaced. ‘The spell book said that might happen. She’ll be fine.’

Ernie gave a weak nod. "O-okay." He mumbled.

Mahina squirmed in her sleep. Selene looked back at her spellbook.

Ernest held her gently, smiling.
