Ernie looked down at Mahina, squeezing her hand to try and help her feel better.

Mahina whimpered. Selene sighed.

"Not now, alright?" Selene asked quietly. "Later."

Mahina nodded. ‘Alright.’

Ernie looked at Mahina, giving a small smile to try and boost her mood.

Mahina looked up at him, but didn’t smile back.

Ernest ruffled her hair. "It'll be ok." He said quietly.

‘Will it?’

Ernie hesitated before nodding. "Yes. I'll make sure of it." He promised.

Mahina nodded. ‘Alright.’

Ernest booped her nose.

Mahina smiled softly.
