Chester noticed the weakness in Jayden’s smile. He kissed his boyfriend’s cheek. ‘I’m always here for you, my darling.’ -
(Literally why not tho)
Jayd gave a more real smile this time. "Thank you. Same goes for you, love." -
(I don’t f---ing know, leave me alone)
‘You’re very welcome. Are you happy?’ he murmured. -
(BRO just PACK)
"I-" Jayden stopped himself, thinking. "I am right now." He decided. -
(I’m definitely gonna need a bigger suitcase…)
‘Right now?’ Chester questioned. ‘So you weren’t before?’ -
(Lmaooo)
Jayden shook his head. "No, I didn't mean it like that, I just-" He cut himself off again, realizing whatever he was about to say was probably going to make 0 sense. "Just... Forget I said anything, ok? I'm happy, I promise." -
Chester frowned and shook his head. ‘No, I want you to elaborate,’ he said softly.

Jayd took a deep breath. "Fine. I'm happy, it's just... There's other feelings crowding it out sometimes." most times. "And that makes it harder to make sure that I'm mostly happy, because then I have to sort out all the other feelings first." He sighed. "Does that make any ounce of sense?"

Chester nodded. ‘It does. But… what other feelings?’

Jayden thought for a bit. "Well, I'm in love with you, so there's that feeling. Then there's fear because of everything that's happened today, and then there's guilt for still being scared of you, and then I'm sad because I have to leave in two days..." Jayd stopped himself, realizing he was rambling.

Chester smiled softly. He gently pressed a kiss on Jayden’s forehead. ‘Go on.’

"Well, I'm also fairly relaxed, because my boyfriend is being ridiculously nice right now, and then I'm upset with myself since I've done nothing to deserve you, and then I feel bad for all the s--- I've put you through in the past month." He mumbled the last part, half-hoping Chester wouldn't hear.

Chester lay down next to him, his arm wrapping around Jayden’s waist. His thumb drew circles on Jayden’s skin.
‘You’ve put me through no s---. I’ve loved every second of you being here, love.’ -
Jayd blushed, heart fluttering. "I'm the reason why the press is going nuts over us, because of my board room and brother." He argued. "And I'm still scared of you. I highly doubt you loved any of that."

Chester shook his head. ‘The press have always been crazy. I’m surprised I’ve remained their good, innocent king till now,’ he said softly. ‘Nothing is permanent, love. Your fear, the board room…’ he trailed off. ‘We’ll get through this. Promise.’
