Theo waited for Hazel as she talked to Jacky, who ran up to get Ally.

Jacky gave Hazel the infant to hold, and the four walked downstairs.

Theo walked down the stairs, sitting at the same seat he did before.

Hazel set Ally in the baby chair and sat next to Theo. The dinner was served to them after a few minutes, and the table had already erupted into chaos.

"How is it almost as loud as the school lunchroom?" He asked Hazel with a chuckle.

'There are 8 kids,' Hazel chuckled.

"8 very loud ones." Theo chuckled, eating his food.

Hazel rolled her eyes and started eating her spagetti.

"Hazel," Her stepmom said after a bit. "Remember how I wanted to tell you something before you left for school?"

'No,' Hazel lied.

Theo raised an eyebrow. "Well, I did. We need to talk, later." Her mom said.

Hazel looked back to her food. 'Alright.'

Theo looked at the 2 of them, mouthing 'you good?' to Hazel since she seemed... Off whenever she talked to her stepmom.

Hazel nodded and continued eating her food.

Theo ate his food as well, not saying-or mouthing- anything else.
