"Hazel!" Her stepmom called out. "I need to speak with you."
"I know you heard her." Theo said. "What's the problem with talking to her?" -
'Nunya Beeswax,' Hazel said to Theo coldly. She walked over to her stepmother. 'Yeah?'
Her stepmum sighed. 'Well, I know this year has been a big change for you - (Hazel rolled her eyes) - but, well, your father had asked me to-'
Hazel's eyes widened. 'Sorry, I-I've got some... Uh, homework to do. I'll talk later!' she said, and ran upstairs. -
"Hazel!" Her stepmom yelled before sighing. Theo ran up the stairs to follow her.
"Well that was a quick talk." He said with a raised eyebrow. -
'Yep,' Hazel said, opening the door to her room.

Theo walked in, sitting on his mattress.

Hazel shut the door particularly hard and sat down on her bed.

Theo looked at Hazel, wondering what her stepmom asked her.

Hazel glanced at Theo. 'What?'

"Nothing." He responded, feeling it wasn't his place to ask her what her stepmom talked to her about.

Hazel looked away. 'I'm gonna go have my shower,' she said, grabbing her pyjamas. She walked out of her room and shouted, 'I dibs first shower!'
A younger boy shouted, 'Dammit!' from another room. -
"Who said that?" Hazel's dad yelled. "We don't say that word!" Theo grabbed his sketchbook and started drawing a rose.

The whole house went silent, until a little girl shouted, 'Jacky did!'
'Dang it Lilla!' Jacky shouted. 'Snitch!' -
"Jacky, you're grounded!" The dad yelled, and Theo chuckled.

'Whyyyyy?' Jacky shouted.

"Because you said a bad word dummy!" Lilla shouted back.
