'Hazel!' Tyron said. Hazel looked up. 'What's better, monster truck or Barbie?'
'Barbie, obviously,' Lilla said.
Hazel raised her eyebrows. 'Uhm... Monster truck.' -
Lilla glared, and Theo chuckled, silently agreeing with Hazel.

'Barbie is still better!' Lilla said to Tyron indignantly.
'No! Even Hazel says so!' Tyron argued -
"Barbie did get several movies..." Theo said, and Lilla nodded.

'But Monster Trucks are more fun!' Tyron said.

"No they're not!" Lilla protested. "Barbies are funner!"

'Funner isn't a word,' Hazel muttered.
'Yes it is!' Lilla said. -
"No it isn't!" Tyron argued, which then led Lilla and Tyron into a heated argument on if funner was a word or not.

Hazel chuckled. 'They're gonna be at this for a while.'

"Oh absolutely." Theo agreed with a laugh.

Hazel chuckled. One by one the children began to leave the dinner table. When everyone except Theo, Hazel and her stepmother had left, Hazel's stepmom spoks up.
'Hazel, can I-' she started, but Hazel-Lee grabbed all the plates and walked off into the kitchen. It was her turn to stack the dishwasher. -
"Hazel, your mom's trying to talk to you." Theo said, following. "Why are you so weird around her anyways?"

'I'm not,' Hazel said, grimacing at the word "mum". She set the plates in the sink and opened the dishwasher.

Well CLEARLY you ARE. Theo thought, but didn't say anything, and instead leaned again the wall.

Hazel packed everything into the dishwasher, then turned it on. 'C'mon,' she said, walking out of the kitchen.
