Jonah sighed, nodding. "That sucks." He said quietly. "I'm so sorry."

Jonah nodded. "I'm sorry." He repeated, squeezing her hand.

"it doesn't matter. It's not like you have anything to do with it." Valako said

"I don't care, I still feel bad." Jonah said, leaning against the tree.

Valako looks up to the trees. "So I'm the reason your friends are fighting with you?" Valako asked sadly

Jonah debated whether to lie or not, but ultimately decided to tell her the truth. "Yeah... But they were being horrible. It's not your fault."

"Except it IS my fault. It wouldn't have happened if I didn't exist." Valako said

"Hey, don't say that. I would hate it if you didn't exist." Jonah said quietly.

"If I didn't exist you wouldn't know me." Valako said

“And I would be stuck with those guys. I’m glad you exist.”
