"Those booby traps! The ones people get stuck in!" George said, throwing a couple of the rocks.

"I go to dollar general, how would I even set booby traps?" Valako asked

"Y-you-you um..." George stammered, throwing more rocks.

"I'm a human being. If you're going to hate me at least don't hide your prejudice and just say it outright. You throw rocks at me because you hate the way my face looks. That's all you have to say." Valako said

George glared. "Y-you- That-"
"Don't lie George." Jonah said, upset with the conversation, walking into George's line of sight. -
Valako set her arms down and just looked at George with her one eye, almost crying.

"You've been ditching us for her?!" George yelled angrily. Jonah nodded, staying close to Valako.

"No matter what I do you can't see a different human." Valako said staring down George with her one eye.

George stuttered a bit more, taking another step back and throwing a rock a her. "Will you stop with the rocks?" Jonah asked, irritated.

Valako just stared, with her teary eye

Jonah grabbed Valako's hand to try and help her feel better, which INFURIATED George.

"I'm a person." Valako said

George stammered, stepping back again. "Everyone's gonna hear about this." He said angrily before running off.

"I'm a person too." Valako repeated sadly.

Jonah squeezed her hand. "I'm sorry." He said quietly.
