Valako drank her cherry coke.

Jonah didn't say anything, picking at one of the leaves.

Valako kicked her feet and felt a rock ricochet off her foot. She then realized she was in a tree and looked down. There was George

"Freak!" George yelled, tipping Jonah off that George was there. He debated on whether to hide so George didn't realize he was there or just staying in place, before deciding to stay put. It didn't seem like George realized he was there yet anyways.

"sorry." Valako said.

Jonah raised his eyebrows, not sure why Valako was apologizing or even who she was apologizing to.

George threw another rock. Valako made her way down the tree

Jonah went down too, though he went down the other side of the tree so George couldn't see him.

"why do you hate me?" Valako asked. That caught George off guard

"Well.... Because you're a monster!" George yelled, taking a step back like he'd be safer if he was a full 6 feet apart.

"how? How am I a monster? I never hurt anyone." Valako said

"Y-yes you have!" George yelled, grabbing another fist full of rocks. "With those beartraps!"

"how would I get bear traps, and how would I even set them?" Valako questioned covering her face with her arms
