“Woah, so many cookies!” Jonah said with a smile. “And those guys are weirdos anyway. I don’t think you’re a monster.”

"They're not that weird. Everyone in town thinks I'm a monster. It's been that way for forever." Valako said. It was true. Ever since the day her mom took her home from the hospital people said she was a monster. Meanwhile, James George and Sally were getting worried. "Not even a scream yet. Do you think the beast finally ate someone today?" James said. "I'll kill it if it has." George said. "You you think he's alright?" Sally questioned

“Well they’re stupid.” Jonah claimed after he finished eating his cookie. By now everyone waiting for him to come back were getting worried.
“I’m sorry, I gotta go.” Jonah smiled apologetically. “I’ll see you another day though!” -
Valako was shocked by the whole sentence. He'd come back tomorrow? No one returned to the forest after seeing her, even veiled. "See you." Valako said. She figured he might just be being polite but it made her hopeful. Maybe she might make a friend

Jonah walked back to were his friends were. “You guys are a bunch of babies, it’s just a girl.” He said, laughing. “I know it seems shocking, but not everything is a monster from a horror movie.”

"you just saw it's disguise. It wore a mask or that weird veil didn't it?" James asked. "Maybe it shape shifts." Sally said. "We should still kill it." Said George. Valako watched Jonah walk out of the forest and walked inside.

Jonah completely avoided the fact that the girl did wear a veil. “Shape shifting? Do both of us a favor and grow up.”

"don't be so defensive. I've never seen it before, I've only seen it's creepy hut in the forest, and it's mother. She was so scary I don't want to see the actual beast." Sally said. Valako took off her veil while she was inside and turned on her lights. She looked into her mirror and watched her one eye move as she tilted her head.

Jonah rolled his eyes. “Come on guys, it’s getting late.” He said, walking off and everyone walked close behind.

Valako stopped playing with the good side of her face and looked at the deformity. Her skin was gray. Where the eye would've been the skin was swelled and puffy. The greyed skin would often get rashes if she wasn't careful. It was always awful in her eye.

He kept walking till he got to his house, saying bye to his friends and getting ready to go to bed,

Valako watched her terrifying face for awhile before shutting off her lights and going to bed

It took Jonah a bit to get to bed, but when he did he slept in till late morning/early afternoon, and heard his friends banging on the door. He quickly got dressed and met up with them.

Valako woke up and started her morning routine. First lotion to make sure she didn't get a rash. Then she ate some bread and cereal. Then she brushed her teeth and hair. "What if we go to the strip mall today? I wanna check out that old dollar store that smells like latex." George said

“Sure, sounds good.” Jonah said as all of them kept walking. “I need my daily Kit Kat anyways.”
