"you're really charming." Valako said looking away.

Jonah's entire face went bright red. "I-you-Thanks." He said sheepishly, smiling.

"don't mention it." Valako said, blushing even more.

"Oh I will." Jonah teased,

"p-please don't" Valako said, covering her face with her hand. She wasn't used to giving out compliments

"Fiiiiine." Jonah said, though he sounded reluctant.

Valako waited for her blushing to die down before looking back.

Jonah smiled, his face still slightly pink.

"so, what's the store like whenever other people are there?" Valako asked

"Just kinda dull." Jonah responded, trying to think. "It's just a bunch of candies and food."

"but that's the best part! I love wandering the isles and finding new snacks. I usually can't stay for long but it's super fun when I actually get to look." Valako said

Jonah smiled. "I'll be sure to grab you a bunch of snacks next time I go."

"You don't have to do that, half of the fun is looking at them." Valako said

Jonah shrugged. "Fair enough, but I still want to give you something from there."

"if you wanna get me something..." A devilish grin crept onto her face hidden by her veil. "Get me a cherry coke." Valako said. By her mom's standards, cherry coke was a crime punishable by death. She always wanted to try one but she didn't want to sleep outside for a soda.
