She walked over to the counter where she put the bread sticks into an empty coffee mug. "I made them earlier to go with the pizza and decided to add extra garlic butter to go better with the bread sticks." Valako rambled

Jonah smiled, taking a bite out of one.
“They’re so good!” He said awestruck. -
Valako smiled as her egg timer went off. She got her cookie monster oven mitts and took out the pizza, adding garlic powder then extra cheese before putting it back in the oven

“It looks so good!” Jonah said, smiling.

"I'm sure it's gonna be good, I would have added pepperoni or something but it didn't seem like a pepperoni day to me." Valako said

Jonah nodded. “Sounds good.”

"so, how's your day been? Valako asked as she set her egg timer.

Jonah shrugged. “I got in a fight with one of my friends, but then I met up with you, which made it better, so a pretty good day I guess.”

"well, it's nice that you're feeling better after a fight but is everything okay? It sucks fighting with friends." Valako said

“He was being a jerk, I’m fine now,” Jonah said, only telling half of the truth.

"what did you two fight about?" Valako asked. She was always curious about what went on in town

“Just stuff. He was being a jerk.” Jonah said, not really wanting to say they were arguing over Valako.

"I'm so sorry you and your friend fought even if he was a huge jerk. I'd cry if we ever got into a fight." Valako said

“I’ll try to make sure we don’t get into a fight.” Jonah said, smiling.

"I'll be sure to be as agreeable as possible." Valako said confidently
