Aria heard Javas loud sob as it made her jump. She bit her lip anxiously wondering what she should do.

Eventually, through all the crying, javas fell asleep. This place was a ghost of his life. It was shattered like dishes after an earthquake. He wished his life wasn't stolen away like this. It was devastating.

After half an hour Aria rushed up the stairs and saw the open door. She sighed and entered Javas's house, and searched each room until she found Javas lying asleep. She gave a smile filled with sympathy, the outline of his eyes red, his cheeks wet. "Javas"

Javas woke up to a voice, he hugged the pillow tight to his chest as he opened his eyes. "Did I fall asleep? How long was I asleep?" Javas asked slowly sitting up. His crying earlier gave him a headache

Aria shrugged sitting down next to him. "Don't, don't your parents live here anymore?" She asked biting her lip anxiously.

"they don't live anywhere. They're dead." Javas said looking at a picture on the wall. It was their wedding picture. He remembered his mom kept her wedding dress in the closet. He remembered how she was excited for the trip up to the top of Everest.

Aria put her hand over her mouth. "Javas, I'm so sorry, that's terrible. That must of been hard coming back here" she hesitated. "How would you feel coming back here?"

"I only ever come back here when I'm not doing great. I feel like someday it'll help but it never does. This place is like my family's grave. My parents bodies were never actually recovered y'know." Javas said looking towards the dresser. His mom used to drive him and his dad crazy spending half an hour putting on makeup when they went out to dinner

"Right" Aria muttered not wanting to upset him. "I was going to suggest maybe we bring the kids here, make it more comfortable and safe for them but it's fine, I don't wanna make you feel like this. I'm sorry, I've messed up everything haven't I?"

"I- it's fine." Javas said gritting his teeth. He didn't want to upset Aria but it really wasn't okay, the suggestion felt disgusting to him. No one could stay here, it was a tomb. The tomb of his whole previous life. The tomb of everything he knew. It was wrong. It was so terrible he never thought of even staying there for the night.

Aria rested her hand on his shoulder cautiously. "Don't bother lying, I always mess everything up, it's obvious you hate the idea, i suppose it's not great plan. I'm-, I'm sorry" she muttered feeling her cheeks go bright red.

"you don't mess everything up Aria, don't say that about yourself." Javas said. He stood up and walked to the dresser there was a picture. It was his whole family, they'd gone to Disneyland in the photo. He remembered everything about that trip. He picked up the photo and stared. "This place is not somewhere to stay. It's my mom and dad's place. It's seven year old Javas's home not mine." He said sorrowful.

"Hey, what's your favourite disney character?" she asked trying to change the subject. She hoped she wouldn't make matters worse seeing as he was looking at a photo of him and his family at DisneyLand. She stared at the photograph, envious. She'd never gotten the chance to go somewhere like that. The only luxury she got was soft plays and ordinary parks. She sighed sitting down on the bed.

"well, I used to love Mike from monsters inc." Javas said. He sat down on the floor still staring at the picture. He touched the picture. It felt unreal still. He felt a single tear fall from his eye and watched it hit the photograph
