Eventually Javas took over Aria, so she started following him until she couldn't run anymore. She glanced behind her but nobody was following.
-
Javas stopped when he felt Aria slow down. He looked back and saw the pursuers left. "Let's get back to the alley to share the food now." Javas said
-
Aria nodded, catching her breath as she continued to follow Javas down the long, narrow pathway.
-
When javas got to the alley he started to empty his pockets and watched the kid's faces fill with joy as they saw the fresh new food
-
Aria pulled fruit and cakes out of her pocket and shared it round with some of the younger children who she shared a cabin with. She gave a slightly smile as they dug into the feast.
-
Javas watched the kid's eat happily. He completely emptied his pockets except for the cherries which he kept
-
Aria nibbled on a handful of grapes but ate nothing more. It was the most she'd eaten in months. She walked over to Jacob and mouthed thanks.
-
"I love Wednesdays Patrick yelled Happily. Javas smiled. Today was good. He hoped other people who were homeless got just as much food
-
Aria walked for a minute or two then laid back against a tree and closed her eyes.
(I don't know what to put lol) -
Javas watched them eat and then decided to go for a walk. Seeing the scene made him happy yes... But it also felt incredibly and uniquely sad. He didn't want to be sad right now. He couldn't be sad right now. It wasn't right. "Matthew, I'm gonna scout out the edge of the city for new restaurants. Who knows, maybe they won't lock the dumpsters like Dunkin." Javas told Matthew. He thought about telling Aria instead, but since she followed him when he ran out he was worried. He walked out of the alley.
-
After a few moments Aria started walking back. She looked around at all the kids. She could see them all about from Javas. She walked up to Matthew, one of the boys Javas was closer too. "Where's Javas?" She whispered.
"Did you just talk? Anyway, he's gone to look for some restraints or something" -
Javas walked down the street. The quiet bustle of everyday life was familiar but he didn't take a walk to think about that. He stopped in front of a green apartment building. It wasn't the best looking apartment complex. The paint was peeling slightly and some windows were cracked but he knew the landlord was good at keeping everything together. The landlord was good to his family. He walked to the back, crawling under the wooden fence at the exact spot where the boards were loose. He knew that spot. It happened when we played pretend as a bull. He rammed his head right into the fence
-
Aria sighed. She knew he probably didn't want her to follow him but she stalked out across the road anyway.
-
He looked at the stairs hidden behind the wood fence. He walked up. Step by step until he was at the third floor. He looked at the numbers. 309, 311,313... Then 315. He stood in front of the door and anxiously walked towards the window. Secretly, carefully, he peeked inside. It was unchanged almost. Same blue couch, same ugly shag rug. It looked like a picture. It was just like the day he had to leave it.
-
Aria ran up the stairs where she guessed he had gone. She paused outside as she saw Javas standing outside his house. "Oh"
