After a while it got really dark, and Nikolai decided it was probably best if they went to his house before it got too dark.
“Come on, let’s get to my house.” Nikolai said, standing up. -
Natsuki stood too, pulling her coat tighter around her.

Nikolai noticed Natsuki pulling her coat tighter. “Are you cold?”

Natsuki gave a small nod, and glanced up to the sky. She turned on her phone flashlight because she could barely see.

Nikolai took off his sweater, offering it to Nat so that she wouldn’t be cold.

Natsuki shook her head, because then Nik would be cold too.

“Please, I insist.”

Nat sighed and took the sweater, then took off her coat and pulled the sweater over her uniform, then the cost back over that. She gave a grateful smile to Nik.

“No prob.” Nik said, smiling. It was a tiny bit cold, but not too bad.

Natsuki smiled, holding her phone torch in front of them so they could see when they started walking.

Nik started walking slowly, making sure he didn’t trip over anything.

Natsuki followed him, shining her torch around them as she walked. They left the park and walked on the sidewalk, Nat making sure cars didn't run over them.

After a little bit they got to Nikolai’s house, and he opened the door slowly, making sure neither of his parents were in the room.

Nat peeked through the doorway, nobody was inside. She stepped inside, glancing at Nik behind her.

Nik walked into the house, still trying to make sure his parents weren’t there. It didn’t seem like either of them were in the house, which was either really good or really bad depending on the reason.
