Natsuki pursed her lips, unsure of what to do. She glanced around but found nothing.

“Baby shark doo do so do do do.” Nikolai hummed, bored.

Nat chuckled and picked up her soccer ball, holding it up so Nik could see and tilting her head at him.

“You wanna play soccer?” Nik asked, standing up yet again.

Natsuki nodded her head and stood up too, holding the ball under her arm.

Nik grinned, walking out of the room, waiting for Nat to follow him.

Natsuki hopped after him, pulling her shoes on.

Nik put his shoes on, opening the door out of the house and walking through it.

Natsuki followed him and closed the door behind them, noticing how Nik's parents weren't back yet though didn't say anything about it, in case it upset him.

Nik noticed his parents didn’t seem to be in the house at all.
“Are they still searching for you?” He asked softly. -
Natsuki shrugged, turning the soccer ball around in her hands.

“Anyways, what do you wanna talk about?” Nik asked, walking towards the park, since there was a field there.

Natsuki shrugged again, this time throwing the ball into the air and catching it repeatedly.

“If you could be anything in the world, what would you be?” Nikolai asked, trying to think of another conversation starter.

Natsuki thought about that for a second. She pulled out her phone and wrote, 'Either a human or a really stupid tiny dog," and showed it to Nik, a small smile on her face.
(I do wanna be reincarnated as a stupid Pomeranian tho 😂)
