Lily turned around and quickly put on the new green dress.

Anne sat on the bed, looking away from Lily.

"So what do you think?" Lily asked spinning round with a laugh.

Anne looked away. 'You look... amazing,' Anne said, a faint blush appearing on her cheeks. She smiled.

Lily smiled back. "You do too" she added blushing as well.

Anne blushed harder.

Lily sat back down on Anne's bed, not knowing what else to do.

'Well, I'm going to go help Mother with dinner,' Anne said, standing.

Lily nodded. "What should I do?" she asked.

'I don't know.'

"Okay, I'll just wait here then I guess"

Anne nodded, then left and walked downstairs.

Lily twiddled with her hair unsure of what to do.

Anne walked downstairs. It turned out that her mother didn't need her help, so soon after she walked back up to her room.

"That was quick" Lily smiled.
