Sienn gave a small smile too Chloe as she wondered in the direction of the main office before racing after Maya.
"Hey, wait up!" She called opening her locker. -
Maya glanced over to her, gently pulling one of her earplugs out of her ear, leaving the other one in.
'Yeah?' she said, opening her locker and unzipping her bag. -

Sienna wanted too explain that Maya had upset Chloe but she didn't want too loose a friend. "Oh uhm" she stuttered struggling too find an excuse. "What class do you have, I've got English"

Maya raised an eyebrow. 'That's all?' she questioned. 'Well, I've got English too.' She pulled out her science textbooks and stacked them neatly in her locker, then shut the door and locked it.

"No, I mean yes but I've got English first, then Drama, Maths and Psychology" she stuttered.

Maya stared at her for a moment. She wasn't good with social skills and emotions, but she could tell something was troubling Sienna. 'Are... you OK?' she asked.

Sienna hesitated for a moment then nodded. "Yeah, I'm fine" she answered. She hated lying too Maya but she really didn't want too loose her. When she saw the worried look on her friends face she added. "Just a little tired, that's all"

'OK...' Maya said, but wasn't convinced. 'I've gotta drop a permission slip for the year 9 camp at the office. Cya, I guess?' She slung her bag over one shoulder, keeping her guitar on her back.

"Cya, I'll save a place for you in class" Sienna said quietly as Maya walked away. She bit her lip as she retrieved her bag from her locker, and all she could think about was Maya. Maya. Chloe. Maya. Chloe.

When I walk into my class,I try to blend in with the other students but wearing summer clothes makes me stick out like a mouse at a cat party.The teacher immediately sweeps me up and says,”Everyone,we have a new student!This is Chloe!” A few people feebly wave at me or mutter,”Hi.”
I immediately notice that some girls at the back were sn-----ing and pointing at my clothes.Yeah,maybe my clothes are out of place and cringy,but why can’t they just cut me some slack?I just wish Sienna was here right now! -
