"Once," Asteria said. "But Martino, surely there must be more to you than cleanliness."
-
“Ah, yes,” Martino said. He smiled wickedly and stared down at Asteria with a smug look on his face. Tilting his glasses slightly, he said, "Hygiene.”
-
(Wait he has glasses?)
"That's the same thing," Asteria rolled her eyes. "What do you do in your free time when you're not cleaning something or yourself?" -
(I think so)
(I really need to make an OC chart for all my oc’s so I can look back on it and not mix their things up :’))
Martino didn’t even think twice about his answer before quickly saying, “Well, I tend to Sir Quince in my spare time. He is the head of the household, and runs a very successful business. He often needs help sorting through documents, so, as his right hand man and loyal butler, as well as someone who cherishes the friendship between him and I, it's common for me to help him during those terrible times.” -
(I'm pretty sure he doesn't have glasses but he can if you want)
Asteria gave him a 'what on earth' look, then looked back at Roxy. "See, he helps his friends. Not scary." -
(I think I’ll give him glasses :D)
“His friend is literally holding you hostage.” Roxy pointed out. -
"He and Carlos are friends too," Aster pointed out in return.
-
“Carlos isn’t saying anything about you being held hostage!”
-
"He just found out I'm basically a prisoner last night and we stayed well away from the subject this morning. He hasn't exactly had much of a chance to speak up about it. And anyway, Martino did admit that Quince wasn't wrong yesterday."
-
“Did he now?” Roxy’s eyes softened at hearing this. She quickly stole a glance at a proud-looking Martino before looking back at Asteria, a somewhat relieved grin wiping away her hesitant expression. “So he isn’t entirely a big grumpy guy who follows Quince’s every move like a little puppy dog!”
“Hey now,” Martino warned, although with the way his voice sounded, it didn’t sound much like a threat. “It’s not nice to call me a ‘little puppy dog.’”
“Really?” Roxy raised an eyebrow before wiggling it. “I find that it suits you perfectly.” -
Asteria smiled, watching it play out. She knew the two of them had just gotten off on the wrong foot. She was going to have to tease her later for calling him a puppy.
-
“Asteria, you don’t consider me a… dog, do you?” Martino asked, side eyeing Roxanne.
-
"She didn't call you a dog, Martino," Asteria said. She had a wicked glint in her eye as she glanced at Roxy. "She called you a puppy. She called you cute."
-
“Cute?” A blush barely visible to the naked eye fluttered across Martino’s cheeks. His eyes only widened slightly before he put on a smug smirk. “So, I’m considered cute?”
“No! No you aren’t! You’re a horrid, silly dog that needs to be put on a leash!” Roxy screeched and threw her arms into her hair, gently pulling at one of the locks. A blush of her own rushed onto her face, although it was much more prominent than Martino’s was.
“Oh? Well, that’s an interesting assessment.” -
(Don't forget
"You definitely called him a puppy, not a dog. And I remember you telling me that the only reason puppies existed was to be cute," Aster prodded, surely embarrassing Roxy even more.
