When Asteria left the room, Quince didn’t even try to attempt to stop her. He groaned and buried his face in his hands. He should’ve taken Martino’s advice to be understanding towards her situation.
Roxanne was still sitting in the living room, except Martino wasn’t in there with her. Her face was as red as a sun-dried tomato and she held a goofy grin across her face. -
Asteria's mood changed after seeing Roxy. "Sooo," she said with a teasing smile. "What do you think of him?"
-
“He’s tall, elegant, and handsome. Need I say more?”
-
"Do you know what he thinks of you?" Aster asked, wondering if they'd gotten that far.
-
Roxanne gave her an excited wink, clapping her hands together once.
“I think he likes me more than he did when I tried breaking into this rich boy’s house.”
Roxanne’s happy expression morphed into an intrigued one.
“Where did you go to?” -
"Um..," Asteria wasn't sure what to say, "I went to talk to Quince." Hopefully she could manage to quickly get Roxy off the topic.
-
“And? How did that go?”
-
"Could have been better," Asteria said with a shrug. "Come on, I haven't explored the back yard yet." And she started walking through the house to where she supposed the back door might be.
-
“There’s a backyard?” Roxy exclaimed. She quickly hurried after Asteria. “I wonder if it’s big and luxurious! We could throw parties in there and sunbathe, and and! The possibilities are simply endless!@

Asteria laughed. "Sunbathing might be allowed, but I'm not so sure about parties," she said. They walked through the various hallways and corridors, keeping their eyes peeled for a back door.
-
"Ah, whatever. We can throw them in secret like I used to do when we were younger!" Roxanne declared with a wicked grin.
After a few more minutes of walking around the endless hallways and corridors, the two women finally found a glass door that led to a large grassy plain. There was a marble floor that a lengthy pool had been placed into.
In another side of the backyard, there was a patch of flowers guarded from birds and multiple different pests by a short gate. -
Asteria quickly took off her shoes and socks. Throwing Roxy a smirk, she ran to the deep end of the pool and jumped in fully clothed. She soon resurfaced with a grin on her face.
-
Roxy gasped, her eyes widening to that of dinner plates.
“AS!” Roxy chortled, barely able to contain the laughter that was rapidly rising up her throat. She put her hands on her thighs and laughed merrily. “OH MY GOSH!”
