"Who the hell are you and why are you in my house?!" Jewels mom asked yelled.
Jewel sighed. "Mom, he is my friend. Now PLEASE go to bed! Your heads going to hurt so badly if you don't!"
Jewels mom rolled her eyes. "Whatever brat, just have him leave by 11." She said as she walked away.
"I am so sorry you had to see that." Jewel apologized to Adrian as she looked at Max to see if he was injured. -
"It's alright," Adrian said. "Here, let's go to nthe bathroom. That looks like it hurts."

Jewel sighed as she led Adrian to the bathroom.
"Do you have a place to stay?" Jewel asked. -
Adrian nodded as he carefully took the shard out of her cheek. It was rather small. He grabbed a bandaid from the cupboard that was the right size and put it on her. "But considering that hell is literally after you, I'll ask you if you want to go to my cabin. It's much safer there than here."

Jewel bit her lip. "What about Max? I can't possibly leave him here! You saw what happened tonight."

"Would you rather the demons get him?" Adrian asked as he put the white bandaid wrapper into the trash. "Trust me it's going to be way worse for him if they do."

"No I wouldn't... But I would hate to find him hurt when I come back home." Jewel mumbled.

"Would you rather he just be hurt or would you rather he be dead?" Adrian asked, looking deeply into her eyes. "Lucifer is after you. Not Max, you. If we bring him along he'd most likely wind up killed by a demon."

Jewel sucked in a deep breath and looked at the floor."I'd rather him be hurt. Your right, he could be killed in an instant." Jewel looked back up at Adrian.
"I'll go with you. When do we leave?" -
(I figured out how you were able to get a pfp)
A demon appeared in the back yard of the house. He had yellow cat-like eyes and bat-like wings that he didn't bother concealing, and was completely dressed in black leather with a few thin chains for decorative purposes. He silently walked through the back door.
Adrian suddenly felt something. He looked around the bathroom even though he knew there was no one there but him and Jewel. His eyes widened when he realized there was a demon there. "Now," he said. "Get everyone out of the house now. There's a demon." He walked out of the room -
Jewels jaw dropped. A demon? She shook all negative thoughts out of her head and quickly ran into Max's room.
"Hey buddy! Wanna go get some fresh air?" She whispered frantically.
"What the heck Jewel! I'm tired." Max said as he glared at Jewel.
Jewel rolled her eyes and dragged Max out of the bed. She quickly ran to the living room and got her mom off the couch.
"What the hell are you doing?!" Jewels mom shrieked.
A chill ran up Jewels spine as she heard something move behind her. -
Jewel threw a glass vase with all her might in the direction of the sound.

The demon was right behind the girl. "Don't be afraid," he said with his silky voice into her ear. "After all, I'm only going to hurt you."
Adrian looked in the kitchen. There was no one there. The living room next. There. -

"J...j..jewel what is that." Max stammered.
"Am I still drunk?" asked Jewels mom.
Jewels heart raced. She wasn't going to let her family get hurt. She lunged at the demon and attacked with all her might.
