Jewel laughed as she spied a house. "Is that the place you were talking about?"

Adrian nodded and swooped down towards the wooden cabin. He set her on the ground after he landed on the front steps.

"Now, how about that hug?" Jewel asked as she wrapped her arms around him.

Adrian tensed up, curving himself in an odd way. It felt so strange.

"Are you okay?" Jewel asked, immediately removing herself from the hug.

"Don't worry about me," he said with a shake of his head. He led her inside the cabin. He didn't think he should or would tell her about his past.

"Wow! Your house is amazing!" Jewel said as she took a seat on the couch.

Adrian chuckled. "If you think this is amazing then just you wait."

Jewel got up from the couch and smiled. "Does it have to wait?" she asked.

"It might have to," Adrian said. He wasn't sure what was so spectacular about the place. There was a small kitchen (which was very unfortunate considering he loves to cook), a living room that was on the smaller size but not tiny, a bathroom and a laundry room, and upstairs there were two bedrooms and a bathroom. He sat down on the old red couch. Even the furniture, even though it was rather comfortable, wasn't the best. "Anyway I'm sure you have some questions."

"Yes I do. I told you a little bit of my past, how about you tell me some of yours?" Jewel asked, as she cuddled a pillow.

Adrian shook his head. "No, I meant about the situation with Lucifer being after you. This is no light matter."

"Why does he keep avoiding the question?" Jewel thought.
She sighed. "What do I have that makes demons come after me?" -
"He wants your soul and your abilities," Adrian answered. His voice was serious and his eyes were the same. "I don't even know what these abilities are. But if he has your soul and your abilities he will destroy everything he can, which in this case is everything. You're the one that can either save the world or destroy it."
