"So do I." Jewel said as she spooned the sauce on her plate.

"I don't just want the spiciness, I also want the flavor," Adrian said.
"Eh, who cares about flavor when you can have spiciness," Tessa said as she took a bite. -
"Sorry Adrian, I gotta go with Tess here." Jewel grinned as she turned to Tess and raised her hand for a high five.

Tessa just stared at the hand.
"You're supposed to slap the hand," Adrian told Tess.
She looked at him. "Humans slap each other's hands? How strange." -

Jewel sighed. "You know what Tess, I'm going to teach you the human ways." she said as she took a bite of the food and immediately grabbed her water.

Adrian gave a low chuckle. "Regretting putting all that sauce on, aren't we?" he said.
Tessa shrugged. -
"No! I like the sauce." Jewel exclaimed as she took a big bite of the sauce. Her face turned red, but she didn't go for the water.
"See? I like it." -
"I can read your mind, remember?" Adrian said with a smirk. "You can't hide much from me."
"Adrian!" Tessa said.
He looked at her, obviously confused, then he realized. "You know I'm not a creep like that!" he said. -
Jewel was confused for a second then looked down at her feet and blushed.
"You better not think dirty thoughts about me!" She said as she lifted her head and covered her face with her hands. -
"Tess, I am going to kill you," Adrian said as he put his head in his hand.
"How do you know that's what I was meaning? You can't read my mind," Tessa said.
"I just know you so well," Adrian said. -
"I'm pretty tired." Jewel said as she got up from the table.
"Do you know where I can sleep?" -
Adrian nodded. "The bedroom on the left side of the hallway. Mine's on the right. You should probably bring your things up there too."
After Jewel left the room, Tessa turned to Adrian and asked, "Okay, what did you want to talk about?" -
When Jewel got to her room she started to unpack.
She wondered if she could find her phone to record another song.
She snuck into Adrians room and started looking around.
She spotted her phone on his dresser, she quickly ran out of the room and back into hers.
She took a deep breath as she started writing. -
"I - hold on," Adrian said. He walked to the bottom of the stairs. "Jewel! I don't want to parent you, but I told you what might happen if you use your phone! I really don't want the police after us as well as demons."
