Are they daily, or weekly challenges?
I have heard of Genshin, but never played -
there’s several kinds, mostly in the form of events but the one i’m doing is a permanent event and it resets monthly

I have had some games like that! Most of the time the events are hard 😭 -
ikr and sometimes they’re set up in a way that you’ll only have an easier time if you pull the limited time character

that’s more wuwa in my experience but i think all gatcha games are like that to some degree

even so, i’ve been playing (and spending money on) genshin for a few years now, so they’ll have to do something egregious to get me to stop playing

I may check out Genshin at some point!
For the longest time my biggest fixation was OverWatch when it came out, but I learned that online multiplayers aren't my thing. I also had just started gaming, and whewwwwww
People can be mean, and I am not built for that 😭 -
ikr.. co-op is an option in genshin but definitely not something you have to do to enjoy the game. there’s plentyyyyy of solo stuff to do i promise, it’s almost baffling lol

although it is helpful for when you can’t kill a certain boss

you can play it on both, and playstation too, but it does take a lot of storage so i’d recommend PC
