Chlora giggled after Shatter sneezed. She thought it was cute. "Most humans, from what I've heard have no extra abilities, unless you count their intelligence and abilities to create things." Chlora explained.

Anniese patted Shatter. "Bless you!" she said brightly.

Shatter shook himself, making a dry rattling noise before he chirred softly

“Oh. So...basically nothing special about them?” Brooke asked, her pupils dilating.

"Well, I've only read things in books. Our books could be wrong I guess..." Chlora thought. "There has to be something, right?" She asked.

Anniese shrugged. "Don't look at me, I don't know. All I know is that we, I mean, they have powerful intellect and an almost odd diversity. Not a single human is quite the same."

Brooke became distracted, watching sea animals swim by in the ocean.

Chlora went over to Shatter. She might as well try to get familiar with her partners, considering she only has day time to do it effectively.

Anniese hugged her dog to herself as tight as possible. The ship glided nicely through the water, the sky a beautiful blue with fluffy clouds. A serpent dove out of the water in the distance, letting out a shrieking cry.

Shatter saw the serpent and roared back at it, sounding akin to thousands of people screaming

Brooke gasped and jumped back from the railing, falling on her butt. She hadn't realized that the 'animal' she had been looking at was in fact a monster.
Brooke clasped her hands over her ears as Shatter roared, sounding louder than anything she had ever heard in her life.
