The dog crawled into Anniese's lap, sniffing Shatter curiously.
"Oh, uhm," Anniese said. "What's wrong?" -
Shatter noticed Chlora's distress, and decided the plant was causing it. This caused him to bite the plant and yeet it off the ship

Brooke watched the plant sail through the air and land in the water, far away.
“Oh.” she remarked. -
Chlora, a little startled, laughed nervously. "It's okay, the plant didn't do anything, I accidentally killed it..." Chlora explained. "I didn't mean to, umm..." She was usually never nervous, and never talked in such a way, as it was seen as unprofessional and weak, but she couldn't help it.

Anniese's eyes followed the plant until it fell into the water with a soft plunk. She turned back to Chlora, listening to the explanation.
"But, uhm, how?" she asked curiously. -
Shatter tilted their head at the plant person, rumbling softly in curiously

Brooke raised an eyebrow. "Killed it...? But...how?" She wasn't sure how the girl'd killed the plant by barely touching it.

"I took its energy, its life source." Chlora sadly explained. "I forgot to wear my gloves when touching it. It's something I can do." Chlora explained, sounding ashamed.

"Woah, really?" Anniese said. "Ooh, I can sort of do something like that! Here, hang on."
She touched her hand to her arm and a soft glow began to form in her hand, although her arm felt like it was freezing. -
Shatter tilted his head at them, warbling softly

Chlora looked at Anniese curiously. "You're a human? Are you sure? I've never heard of a human doing that!" Chlora exclaimed in excitement.

"Oh, really?" Anniese said, her eyes wide with geniune surprise. "Huh! That's interesting."

Shatter lowered his head to sniff Anniese, before lightly sneezing and pulling their head back

Brooke paused. “I have part of the looks of a human, but I’m not familiar with the abilities of true humans. That’s not normal?”
