Anniese tested the backpack's weight. It was pretty heavy, but doable. Her dog whimpered and followed her around. He knew she was pregnant and was deeply concerned about her all the time.

Shatter drifted on the wind, their wings locked in place as the glidded. They smelled salt faintly in the air and adjusted their flight path to follow it

Underneath the water, everything was calm, quite the opposite from the surface world. Brooke loved the sea.

Anniese arrived at the docks, sliding clumsily off of the horse that had carried her there. Her dog was whining and pacing back and forth, concerned. -
Shatter drew their wings back as they arived overhead, angling into a shallow dive as he circled down. Once they got close he started beating his wings hard to slow himself, grabbing onto the edge of the dock with taloned feet before they pitched forward to land on their wing claws with a screaming roar

Brooke was underneath the dock, in her kelpie sea form. She heard the creaks and stomps on the dock and she wondered who was up there.

Chlora was dropped off, and walked to the docks. There were lots of people up there, maybe they're other government officials for other places? This had to be the right place. "Hello, is this the correct docks, where we were supposed to go? Have any of you received a letter?

Anniese nearly had a heart attack when Shatter landed on the dock, still not quite recovered, she turned to answer Chlora. "I, uh, yes."

Shatter tilted their head at Anniese at one of his souls whispers, making a soft almost appologetic sound before hissing at Chlora and raising themselves up to look down on her

Chlora backed away, afraid that she angered Shatter, then turned to Anniese. "Well, I'm glad I'm in the right place. Oh, how rude of me! I never properly introduced myself. My name is Chlora, who are you guys?" She did sound a bit nervous, still intimidated by Shatter.

Anniese was still a bit on edge from Shatter's grand entrance and talked in a nervous, slightly higher-pitched tone. "I'm Anniese, nice to meet you Chlora."

Shatter made a deep echoy rumbling sound and sort of shuffled their wings before they spoke, their many voices overlapping in an eary chorus "We Are Shatter
