Brooke leaped out of the water from under the dock, transforming into her human form in midair, and landed deftly on the wooden slats. She shook her black hair with purple streaks as it floated down in a curtain onto her shoulders, already dry.

Anniese gulped and nodded. "Right. I don't know about you guys, but I got an invitation to go on a big ol' quest."
She waved her invitation in the air, wondering if they had received one too. -
Shatter tilted their head before arching their neck, coughing out the letter

"Who are you all?" Brooke wondered aloud. "Are you here for the same reason I am?" She twiddled her thumbs carelessly.

Chlora introduced herself again, and took out the letter she received.

It's okay, I hope you're feeling better))
"Um," Anniese said, glancing at Brooke. "I think so."
A big boat rolled into the docks, letting out a deafening blare. "All questing members, come aboard!" -
Shatter hissed at the boat in annoyance, his tail lashing

Brooke turned her head, her hair blowing in the breeze towards the boat and jumped as its horn blasted through the sea air.

Chlora, unphased at the horrid sound the boat just released, skips towards the boat. She was just excited to start this journey.

Anniese's nerves had already been rather shaken, so the loud blare made her shoot up into the air as high as her legs would allow.
"I suppose we'd better get on then," she said, half to herself, walking over to the boat. -
Shatter stared at Anniese for a few seconds before he bent his head down and gently bit onto her backpack, picking her up like a kitten before walking to the boat

Brooke, following the others, blinked quickly, her hair blowing softly in the sea breeze as she walked towards the huge ship.
