Kate leaned against Myriad, her cheeks squishing up against him. Kiri awkwardly hugged her.

Myriad started purring quietly to try to make her feel better

Kate popped her arms out of the blanket and gave them both a tight squeeze. Kiri made an alarmed noise and got squashed.

Myriad made a choked noise of pain when he was squeezed

"Sorry!" Kate squeaked, letting them both go. "Sorry."
"It's okay," Kiri said, his eyes watering a little. -
Myriad bumped his head against her arm as an appology for making noise, his tiny horns pressing gently into her arm

Kate patted his head affectionately as Kiri wiped away tears. So much for being manly when you nearly get your ribs cracked by a little blondie.

Myriad cooed happily at the pets, his eyes squinting shut

"You like being pet?" Kate said with a little giggle.

Myriad purred in response, shuffling his wings a little nervously as he blushed

Kate patted his head. "It's cute!"

Myriad relaxed a little and pressed his head into her hand

The corners of Kate's mouth tilted up in a smile. She sat there in silence, not wanting to disturb him.

Myriad purred loudly, his tail waving

Kate wrapped the blanket around Myriad. "Now you're the burrito."
