Myriad squeaked a little at the hug but then kinda flooped on/next to her, purring happily as his tail waved lazily

Kate patted his back, feeling like she was being comfortably squished by a giant cat. Kiri inched as far away as the confines of the hammock would allow.

Myriad made a sad noise at Kiri, leaning into Kates touch as he gave the other human puppy eyes

Kiri turned around and almost melted at the site of Myriad's pleading eyes. "What?" he said, feeling horribly guilty.

Myriad whined at him, kneeding his claws into the blankets

"I'm not cuddling with you, no," Kiri said, turning over and avoiding Myriad's eyes.

Myriad whined again, sounding incredibly sad

"Why won't you hug us? Don't you like us?" Kate pouted.
"I do like you guys," Kiri spluttered. "But I'm not going to cuddle or hug either of you." -
Myr8ad started making distressed noises again before giving upand going quiet, seeming saddened

Kiri huffed and inched a little closer to them. Kate pulled him over and hugged them both, a big and happy smile on her face.

Myriad trilled happily, wrapping his wings around them

Kiri would never admit it, but he felt happy in that moment. He felt accepted into something rare and special, and for once he didn't mind that he was kidnapped. He closed his eyes and let himself drift off to sleep.

Myriad made a little snuffling sound as he set his head down, sharp teeth flashing as he yawned

"You have pretty teeth," Kate thought out loud, her voice a tired drawl.

Myriad blinked sleepily at her, seeming mildly confused
