Phen shook mud out of his claws, grimicing

Ardis found a small pond and, after collecting and sterilizing some water, dove into it, washing the murky bits of bog off of her.

Phen quickly hopped in after her

Ardis swam around, dunking her head. She came out feeling refreshed and drank some water. She fell onto her back and welcomed the warmth of the sun.

Phen happily swam in the water

She soaked up the sun, letting it warm her. The horses shook their heads happily and bent down to eat the lush grass around them.

Phen swam to the edge of the water to look at her, his wings spread but tucked against his back, acting similarly to a large fin

Ardis wrung out her hair, for it had become a silvery clump on her head. She attempted to set it straight but ended up just leaving it.

Phen snickered at her

She made a face at him and let her hair fall down.

He dove back under tge water

She swirled her finger in the water, humming happily.

Phen swam to the bottom

Ardis stuck her face in, looking for Phen. She accidentally slipped and plunged in, with a sharp squeal. She bobbed back to the surface.

Phen heard the splash and swam back up
