Ardis wondered what she'd do when all of this was over. She'd never really thought about it before.

Phen flicked his tail a frowned

Maybe Phen had an idea. "Phen?"

He blinked and looked at her "hu?

"What do you think I should do? I mean, when this whole thing is over," she said.

He hummed "i dont know. You might make a good teacher

Ardis laughed at the thought. Her? A teacher? "Maybe. I never considered that one."

"Your good with kids" he said, his tail waving

"Hmm..," Ardis said, now imagining herself as a housewife. She almost imploded with the effort of keeping her laughter in. "You're good with kids too. And you're very patient, unlike me."
