Phen barked out a laugh "me, Patient?

"Very," Ardis said. "You've managed to put up with me so far, and you taught me about that magic thing."

Phen hummed "thats fair, i guess

Speaking of which, she wondered if she was able to anything useful with the said "magic thing". She tried to focus.

Phen watched her

Nothing. Just a small little spark.

Phen hummed and looked around

Ardis let out a small sigh of disappointment. Oh well. She studied the map again. "Uh oh."

"Whats wrong?"

"There's some sort of bog up ahead," Ardis said, passing the map over to Phen.

Phen frowned as he looked at the map

Ardis sighed. "What do you think we should do?"

Phen looked ahead "it might be best is we go straight though it on foot, leading the horses behind us"

"Good plan," Ardis said, taking back the map. They reached the bog in a matter of hours. She dismounted, and began walking down a long stretch in the bog.

Phen grimaced at the mud but dismounted to follow
