Ardis nodded, satisfied. The horse huffed at her. She huffed back.

Phen tried to get comfortable and closed his eyes

Ardis kept the horses at a steady trot.

Phen slowly dozed off, though it was a very light sleep, as he kept waking up

Ardis spread a blanket over Phen, smiling softly.

Phen blinked at her before going back to sleep

Ardis turned her gaze back onto the road.

Phen mumbled softly

Ardis wasn't sure how much further they would have to travel. She gazed at the countryside.

Phen woke back up and yawned

"Did you sleep well?" Ardis said, and the horse turned to look at him.

He shrugged "well enough

Ardis looked satisfied, and her skin was the same bright blue as the sky. "That's good."
She looked around the countryside. "Does it look like this where you live?" -
He shook his head "no, its mostly rocky mountains and cliffs."
