Ardis heard someone humming in her dream, but looked around and saw no one.

Phen looked up at the stars, tilting his head with a smile

Eventually she dreamed that she was in a meadow. It was very melancholy.

Phen started drawing in the dirt

(Timeskip bc I'm lazy)
Ardis woke up and saw daylight filtering through the shelter. He had let her sleep in! She shot out of the shelter. -
Phen was still wide awake, though he was now surrounded in strange looking star charts carved into the dirt

"Why'd you let me sleep?" Ardis said, knocking down the makeshift shelter.

"I didnt get tired" he said

"You still need sleep," she said. She'd have to remember to take the next shift. "Why don't you sleep on your horse if you can? I'll lead him along."

Phen hummed "if i get tired i will" he said

Ardis took the horses' leads and hopped onto her horse, hanging on to Phen's horse's lead.

Phen huffed at her

"You need rest," Ardis muttered under her breath.

"By nightfall yeah but im still got for now."

Ardis bit her lip. "Why don't you just try to sleep?"
