Ardis gave an exasperated sigh, but began to comb through her hair, diving underwater.

Phen grinned at her

She spewed a few bubbles at him, looking like a naiad.

Phen dove under her

Ardis swam around him, occasionally tucking her hair behind her so she could camouflage and surprise Phen.

Phen just watched her in amusment

She could hold her breath for a long time underwater, actually, and finally came up for air. "It's nice here," she remarked.

Phen swam up with he and nodded in agreement at her words "shame we had to go through a f---ing bog tho

"Yeah," Ardis said. "With a gekroid in it."

Phen looked confuses

"The thing," she said, shuddering. "I hoped I'd never see one."

Ardis pulled herself out of the water and examined the map. "No bogs up ahead, but a hella big mountain."

Ardis couldn't help but grin too. She splashed some water at him.
