(No problem lol)
"Ah," Androw said. He hadn't been asking, but he supposed it was good information to know. He listened to them going back and forth and couldn't help but smile. It almost felt like he knew them somehow; the way they were so welcoming, so.. Fun.
~
Erissa stood still for a moment, baffled by his attitude. He walked right past her, totally ignoring her hand. She turned, still holding it out in front of her. "Where are you going!?" She yelled back, confused. -
“ I have in fact, mother wished that I be raised as a proper young lady, so aunt insisted. And so when I snuck off, and encountered a particularly hostile vampire.” She explains as she opens the door to the training room.
“ if I had my way, no one would wear dresses, who care about being a proper lady.”
-
Astra eventually grew tired of lounging around the town house and chose to head back to her own house. She called Tora to her side however, the tiger insisted on dragging her back towards the park. -
"Ah. Well, I didn't know you were raised that way," Seth. "YOu really never would've guessed. But I don't think there's many people like you who would abandon finery."
~~~
Matthew looked behind him, and saw that Erissa's hand was outstretched. Should he go back? No, he'd keep on going. "Going on my walk as I had planned," he answered. -
Androw decided to speak up and get better involved in the discussion. "That sounds like a rather improbable dream, Grace," he said, folding his arms behind his back. "Of course, I'm sure people could get used to you and your ways, but.. Society as a whole could never. Everyone's so.. Accustomed to what is normal now."
~
Erissa finally dropped her hand, speed walking over to her. "Don't you know it's better to walk in the company of someone else than to walk alone? Walking alone is rather dreary, I think. " -
“ but people can change, perhaps one day it would even be accepted for myself to- that is just patter ignore me. I’m criminally insane.” Grace says jokingly.
“ are you any good with a sword Androw?”
-
Astra managed to get control of Tora just before the tiger barrelled in to a mundane couple. “ I’m so sorry my dog is- oh...my apologises i did not realise.” She said to Erissa recognising her as a faerie.
The tiger sniffed at Matthew curiously. -
"Thank you, Andrew . . . Androw . . . I saw your name spelled out, and it's messing me up," Seth said. "Do you pronounce the last syllable 'drew,' or 'drow?"'
~~~
"Not when you'd rather be alone," Matthew muttered under his breath. -
(Late post, sorry)
-
(Gonna redo Mat's part.)
-
"Not when you'd rather be alone," Matthew muttered under his breath.
Suddenly a tiger leapt out of the bushes. Matthew yelled in surprise. Then he saw the owner. "I . . . " he was too shocked for words. The owner had horns coming out of her head. And a tiger? -
"Ah, but you see, you're very intriguing. I wouldn't want you to stop yourself from saying whatever was on your mind." He smiled flirtatiously at her, then looked to Seth. "I get both, but.. You can call me--" He cut himself off, wondering if he would be comfortable with them calling him by his nickname. "Andy. You can call me Andy. And, as for your question, Grace.. I'd like to assume so?"
~
Erissa turned her attention to the newcomer and her tiger. She immediately recognized that Astra was of Downworlder descent-- and after a moment, she recognized who she was. She turned back to Matthew, curious to see if he noticed the literal Tiger that just barreled into them. -
“ ooooh! So we have a swordsman then?” She says back with an excited tone. “ I much prefer the usage of my whip, but I’d be interested in seeing how you fare” she says. Then she smiles.
-
“ is everything alright dear? You seem to have seen a ghost!” Astra laughs kindly. She wondered if this man was in fact a man, or if he were perhaps a werewolf. He couldn’t have been a vampire, nor did she see a warlock mark. He didn’t have the same...sense about him that his female companion had.
Perhaps a clear sighted mundane, but he was certainly not a shadow hunter, and for that she was greatful. -
"Andy," Seth said. "Alright." He had personally never heard that as a name before, but he didn't know. He was getting to like Andy.
~~~
Matthew just kept on staring back and forth, between the tiger on a leash and the woman-with-horns. His mouth was opening and closing, but no words came out. He looked rather like a fish. -
"Well, actually, I'm much better with a Khopesh. It.. Well.. It's sort of like a sword, so I'm.. Assuming I can use a sword just as well?" Androw blushed slightly. "What weapons do you use, Seth?"
~
"I think you've gone and broken him," Erissa mumbled. "At least I look slightly normal.." She subconsciously brushed her fingers through her hair, knowing that it hid her ears from his sight. -
"I'm good at throwing daggers," Seth said. "Hit my target every time. Unfortunately I'm still too young to go into battle."
~~~
Matthew was still in shock. -
“ That's kind of cool actually.” Grace says cheerfully. “ I meant the usage of a unique weapon, not assuming you can use a sword.” She says with a slight chuckle.
She turned to Seth as she sat on the floor.
-
“ hmm ..I would have thought my hair colour or eye’s would be far more shocking but it’s always the horns with mundanes...though I suppose many men would prefer to look at another of my features as opposed to my eyes.” The woman said flirtatiously as she glanced down at her bosom.
“ though I suppose my cat is distracting.”
