Seth shrugged and looked out the slightly musty window. He had a small urge to clean it with his sleeve, but then he'd get it dirty, and he was on his way to a ball.

"And demons?" Matthew said, raising his eyebrows. "I thought those were fallen angels." -
Their carriage arrived and Grace led them into the large manor. “ trust me, I wouldn’t lead you somewhere that I thought was legitimately a danger.” She says calmly.

“ of course.” She says to Erissa. Then she turns to Matthew. “ ...some are.” She says sounding oddly pained. “ but most were created after the fall of the angels. Demons are the ones who father warlocks, half demons, half human.” She explains calmly. “ you’ll struggle to find a warlock born of a higher demon, as many of them are incapacitated. Thankfully.” She says sounding bitter.
“ werewolves and vampires are born of a demonic disease, while warlocks are fathered by demons, and faeries are a hellish and heavenly mix.” She says calmly. -
"Well, you never know when you might want to get revenge on me," Seth said, stepping out of the carriage, "and take it out on poor Andy, here."

Matthew blinked in confusion. -
Androw quickly followed behind Grace and Seth, not wanting to get left behind before they even made it inside. "Oh, please spare me!" He laughed, running a hand through his hair. "I'd like at least another year of life, if I can help it."

Erissa tried not to laugh at the expression on Matthew's face. She couldn't remember the last time she had spent this much time with someone other than her family. Astra certainly made the ride to the party much more interesting. "I think you're overloading him with information, warlock," she hummed. -
Grace laughs gently. “ trust me, if anyone starts anything we should be permitted to take care of them.” She explains calmly as she leads her friends through the white hallways.
Grace ignores the scowls and glares they receive upon entering the ballroom.

Astra chuckles slightly. “ yes, I’ll explain later. Let’s just say, some of us are born like this while others are made into down worlders.” She smiles gently -
When Seth walked into the ballroom, he saw many Downworlders make rather rude faces, but they didn't do anything. They knew they had to be civil.

"Alright," Matthew said, shaking his head slightly. They arrived. Matthew stepped out of the carriage, and offered his hand to the - well, they were females to help them out of the carriage. -

Androw followed close behind Seth, taking a glance at the other party guests. Some of them seemed to recognize the Shadowhunter children, but a good amount paid them no attention. He adjusted his coat, looking straight ahead and deciding to avoid the stares. "So, where's your friend, Grace? I'd like to meet him."

Erissa was shocked when Matthew extended his hand to help both her and Astra out of the carriage. She gratefully took his hand, carefully stepping out. "Thank you," she said, taking a second to curtsy to him before stepping aside so he could help Astra. -
Grace smiles. “He should be somewhere in the- ahah! There he is.” She says as she begins to walk over to the vampire,
Edward had been talking in hushed whispers to one of his servants, when he noticed the Shadowhunters heading towards him.
“ Ah Grace...who are your friends?”he asks kindly, as if she was a child who had brought her schoolmates home without forewarning her father.

Astra was equally as surprised, but she smiled and accepted his help. Astra looked around. “...I see he’s replaced all the hedges with trees.” She remarks. “ Hmm...interesting.” She murmurs before she begins to walk.
“ this way, we don’t want to get caught in the cold.” -
Seth gave a slight smile. "I'm Seth Larkspear, and this is Androw Twarby," he said.

Androw dipped his head in greeting to Edward, giving him a small but firm smile. He wasn't sure how comfortable he felt being at this party, but he trusted Grace and Seth's judgement. They wouldn't intentionally put him in harm's way.

"He's done.. What?" Erissa looked around, confused. She wasn't sure what was so important about hedges- or trees- but then again, warlocks always had weird thoughts. Surely it was nothing. She followed after Astra and Matthew, keeping her eye on both of them. -

“ ah nice to meet you, I’m Edward Wallace.” He introduces, “ It’s a pleasure to meet you, but I do have to insist that you remain in your best behaviour, your kind doesn’t have the...greatest reputation in this area.” He explains gently.

Astra sighs. “It doesn’t matter.” She says waving her hand. She then entered into the house and led them into the main ballroom, and hen sighed.
“ it seems the children have multiplied.”
